REFORMATION OF

THE INSTITUTE FOR COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT STUDIES (LSP2-INDONESIA)

In August 9, 2010 Institute for Cooperative Development Studies (LSP2I) had its intern meeting that decided a very fundamental decision to reform and restructure its Member Board, Mr. Djabarrudin Djohan, Mr.H. Woeryantos and Ms. Isminarti Tarigan, peoneers and seniors, have arranged to resign from their main duties as chief and daily managing organizational. Thereafter the organizational duties are going to be carried on by the new member board who are trusted to be able to encourage the realization of cooperative identity and values in Indonesia.The pioneers have asserted that the young generation is a valuable pillar of the Indonesia cooperative. Therefore undoubtedly the existence of young cooperative leadership is a necessity to empower LSP2i.

Cooperative as a basic virtue of LSP2I will be carried on the new member Board’s term of duty. The new member board will continue to advocate for Indonesia cooperative movement by involving in creating innovative pilot project, advocacy, and maintaining of a very good relationship with patner organizations and stakeholders. Furthermore collaboration with other civil society organizations which have common  platform is important for LSP2I’s work of supporting and persuing to build a cooperative movement according to cooperative identity in the future.

LSP2i will give the best effort in continuing vision to empower Indonesia cooperative and to enforce the true cooperative identity. That will become a significant accomplishment of LSP2I to strengten its duty as an agent of dissemination and generate innovative cooperative ideas with social and economics approaches.
